The Joint Admissions and Matriculation
Board or JAMB has fixed Thursday April, 11, 2019 for the commencement of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation examination (UTME).
ASKiNG RADiO Reporter Chilaka Margreth in Bwari Abuja reports that candidates were seen printing the 2019 UTME notification slips this Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs, Dr. Fabian Benjamin advises candidates who registered for the 2019 UTME to ensure that they print their examination notification slips before the day of the examination as excuses would not be entertained.
He says the slips can be printed at any
available internet point and candidates will not have to visit CBT Centres for the printing of their slips.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin also says that the 2019 UTME would not be rescheduled.
JAMB had closed the sale of its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry application documents on Thursday, February 21, 2019 but later discovered that some candidates created their profiles and had procured either UTME or DE ePINS but were unable to complete their registration formalities after initiating the process.
The Board then re-opened the registration portal from Wednesday March 13, 2019 for all candidates with either UTME or DE ePINS to complete their registration formalities.
The portal was closed on Friday, March 15, 2019 by 12 midnight.
